Salam MBASC community,

We are excited to continue with our fifth MBASC Practice Spotlight Series event, coming up Wednesday, July 22nd at 12:00 p.m.  The event will feature highly qualified and experienced  attorneys who will address a range of topics regarding their experience as Muslim women in the legal field.  We are pleased to be joined by:

Farah Bhatti, Shareholder, Buchalter
Amna Chaudhary, Law Clerk, US Bankruptcy Court

The panel will be moderated by MBASC Student Rep, Sarah Shahatto.

About the Event:
The panelists will address the moderator’s questions concerning their experience working in the legal field, as well as the benefits and challenges of a legal career.  The panelists will cover topics including: women empowerment in a predominately male profession, creating sisterhood and mentorship, hijab and woman identity in the workplace and the importance of diversity and intersectionality in the workplace. At the end, we will leave some time for Q&A.
